Burgenland - Unspoilt nature as far as the eye can see
This tour will show you some highlights of Burgenland, one of the lesser known provinces of Austria near the border to Hungary. Our first stop will be Eisenstadt, the province's capital, where Joseph Haydn, one of Austria's most famous composers, lived and worked for many years. Join us for a visit of Esterhazy Castle, incl. the Chapel. Enjoy a concert of typical Haydn music in the "Bergkirche" before continuing to the pretty town of Rust on the shores of Lake "Neusiedl". This town is famous for its wines and the many storks which nest on the house rooftops year after year.
There you'll board a boat for a ride across Lake Neusiedl, the largest steppe lake in Europe, which partly forms the border to Hungary.
After the boat ride, dinner will be enjoyed in an informal setting before finally the bus will take you back to Vienna.

Beautiful Danube Valley - "Wachau"

In the course of this tour you will be acquainted with the beauties of the Wachau valley, so full of historical sites and legendary tales. The Danube river winds along pleasant little villages and steep vineyards. Old castles tell the story of the former importance of this trade and traffic route, castles like the ruin of Dürnstein, where, so the story goes, Richard the Lionheart was kept prisoner.
The tour also includes a visit to the magnificent Benedictine Abbey of Melk, one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Austria and often referred to as the "cradle of Austria". We will finish our excursion by enjoying a typical dinner at a traditional wine tavern, "Heuriger", incl. wine testing, before coming back to Vienna.

Tales from the Vienna Woods

Get acquainted with some of the most interesting sights in the southern part of the Vienna Woods. The tour takes you to Heiligenkreuz, the Cistercian monastery founded in 1133, which is also the final resting place of the Babenberg family.
Heiligenkreuz is today also home to "the most unlikely popstars of 2008", since the monks stormed the global pop charts this year with their album "Chant". You will also visit the former Mayerling hunting lodge (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889.
Through beautiful landscape we continue back to Baden, a town famous for operetta performances and its thermal springs. After a guided tour through the picturesque city, we will finish our excursion by enjoying a typical dinner at a wine tavern, "Heuriger", in the traditional city of Gumpoldskirchen before coming back to Vienna.

Bratislava - The Danube's Finest Pearl

Come with us to Bratislava, known not only as a shopper's paradise but also as a city with many sights to see. The journey there is already a highlight in itself: the 'Twin City Liner' boat takes us from Vienna to Bratislava in just 1,5 hours. Once there, you will get an impression of the city during an extensive stroll along City Hall, Holy Trinity Church, the Tower of St. Michael and the Presidential Palace.
A visit to St. Martin's Cathedral is also planned. During the city walk, we will stop for a coffee break in one of the many restaurants/(cafés). Our final stop is Bratislava Castle, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and of the Danube. After that, we return by boat to Vienna. Please keep in mind that a valid passport/visa is necessary in order to enter Slovakia. Visa cost according to nationality is to be paid additionally!
